The Tragically Hip performed a legendary show at the Roxy in Los Angeles on May 3rd, 1991. During their performance of “New Orleans is Sinking”, Gord Downie regaled the audience with off the cuff, stream of consciousness improvisation pieces – the most infamous being the “Killer Whale Tank” rant. Our illustrations blended beautifully together in the visualizer we created for this interpretation of his story showcasing a lot of movement, adrenaline and all the feels.
