CCOL is run by several librarians, zinesters, and comics makers based in Toronto who share a passion for comics and graphic novels, filling gap areas in arts accessibility, and provoking community building through arts and literature.

Northern Contemporary is a co-working and gallery space that showcases work from a wide range of artists focusing on illustrative, representational, urban, lowbrow, comic, pop art, and experimental work.

The Beguiling is a comic shop in Toronto  that specializes in underground and alternative comics, classic comic strip reprints, and foreign comics. It has built an international reputation for focusing on and promoting non-superhero comics in the superhero-dominated North American comic book market.

The Silver Snail Comic Book Store was founded in 1976 and is a Toronto based comic shop with a cafe appropriately titled Black Canary. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto they specialize in comic books, graphic novels, statues, action figures, model kits, and board games!

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival is a comic book festival held annually in Toronto, Ontario with a focus on small press, alternative, and art house books. Founded in 2003, TCAF is organized by the comic book store The Beguiling in partnership with the Toronto Public Library, which has hosted the festival since 2009.

Fan Expo Canada is an annual comic and pop culture convention held in Toronto. It is the third largest convention of it’s kind in North America with over 100,000 guests visiting annually from all over the world to partake in the extravaganza.

RAID

The Royal Academy of Illustration & Design is an award-winning creative community of artists, writers, designers, editors, animators, photogtaphers, and more in a shared co-working environment.  As a collective RAID operates as a creative agency with a primary focus on sequential art, idea architecture, & visual development, illustration, and design.
